Wateen Telecom Limited has entered into a strategic connectivity partnership with Nayatel to provide high-capacity, carrier-grade nationwide connectivity in support of Nayatel’s expanding network across Pakistan. The agreement was signed by Nayatel CTO Aqeel Khurshid and Wateen CEO Adil Rashid, in the presence of Nayatel CEO Wahaj Siraj and senior leadership from both organisations.
Under the collaboration, Wateen will deliver Layer-2 connectivity to enable seamless intercity and metro connectivity nationwide. The infrastructure will support Nayatel in delivering reliable, high-speed services to customers across Pakistan, ensuring consistent network performance.
The partnership leverages Wateen’s extensive nationwide fibre backbone and resilient metro-to-metro network, offering ultra-high bandwidth capacity exceeding 100Gbps. The connectivity solution is secure, PTA-compliant, and supported by end-to-end managed services.
Both companies said the collaboration will help strengthen Pakistan’s digital infrastructure by enabling scalable, secure, and future-ready connectivity. The partnership is expected to support the continued expansion of Pakistan’s digital ecosystem and rising demand for high-speed data services nationwide.
