At Institute of Business Administration Karachi’s “The AI Imperative: Confronting Challenges, Creating Opportunities,” Jazz’s Chief Strategy Officer Ali Naseer joined industry leaders Asif Peer and Nadeem Elahi to explore how AI is reshaping business, talent, and competitiveness.
Naseer framed Pakistan’s AI opportunity through a People–Policy–Product lens. For People, he underscored building local capability, investing in talent, and strengthening skills to ensure Pakistan creates rather than merely consumes AI. On Policy, he called for trusted data frameworks and governance models that safeguard digital sovereignty while enabling innovation. For Product, he advocated scaling locally relevant AI solutions across networks, customer experience, and digital services to deliver national impact. Drawing on insights from his recent visit to China, he stressed that progress requires academia, industry, and government alignment. The discussion reinforced that AI is a present imperative, and Jazz remains committed to nurturing talent, shaping policy, and building impactful products.
