The Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Pakistan (MOITT) hosted senior leaders from IBM, including Shukri Eid, Vice President and General Manager for IBM Gulf, Levant, and Pakistan, and Adnan Anjum, Country Manager for IBM Pakistan.
The meeting focused on exploring new areas of collaboration in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital infrastructure, which remain key priorities in Pakistan’s digital transformation journey. Both sides discussed ways to promote innovation and improve public service delivery through technology-driven solutions.
Discussions also included plans to empower Pakistan’s youth by strengthening digital skills training programs and creating opportunities for employment in the global technology market. The meeting further emphasized the importance of public-private partnerships in achieving long-term digital growth and resilience.
MOITT reaffirmed its commitment to building a Digital Nation Pakistan by enhancing international cooperation with global technology leaders like IBM. The ministry aims to position Pakistan as a regional hub for digital investment and innovation, driving inclusive growth and sustainable progress in the information technology sector.
