Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will visit Malaysia from October 5 to October 7, 2025, and meet with his Malaysian counterpart Anwar Ibrahim to enhance bilateral economic ties between the two nations. The visit is made at a time when Pakistan is focusing on export-led growth and exploring new destinations for trade to enhance its economic recovery.
According to the Foreign Office, Shehbaz will be accompanied by a high-level delegation of federal ministers and top representatives. The two leaders are expected to hold discussions on enhancing cooperation in important sectors such as trade, IT and telecom, halal food, education, infrastructure, and the digital economy.
A series of MoUs and agreements are expected to be signed during the visit, which reflects strengthened cooperation between Malaysia and Pakistan. The visit reflects Pakistan’s commitment to promoting bilateral ties and sustainable economic growth, peace, and regional stability.
