Jazz has joined hands with the British Council and Tech Valley Pakistan to expand access to digital education across Pakistan. The three organizations signed a two-year MoU at Jazz Headquarters, committing to work together on capacity building and educational initiatives, particularly for underserved communities.

This partnership draws on the strengths of all three partners: Jazz’s digital infrastructure and wide reach, the British Council’s global expertise in education, and Tech Valley’s role as the exclusive Google for Education partner in the country. Together, they plan to co-design tech-driven learning programs, support youth development, and train teachers through scalable, inclusive interventions.

According to Jazz’s Group Chief Corporate and Regulatory Officer, Zaheer Mehdi, the initiative is grounded in a shared belief that education should be accessible to all, regardless of background or location. The British Council’s Country Director,James Hampson, expressed pride in joining this effort, calling it a significant step for all involved. Umar Farooq, CEO of Tech Valley, added that this partnership is a game-changer for education in Pakistan, combining connectivity, pedagogy, and innovation.

Overall, the collaboration reflects Jazz’s continued focus on using technology to empower people, especially youth and women, through meaningful, purpose-driven platforms.
