Khaifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD Group) has signed a 50-year land lease agreement with Bisconni Middle East Manufacturing. This deal will lead to the creation of a modern manufacturing facility at KEZAD Al Ma’mourah. Bisconni, part of Pakistan’s largest confectionery and snack food producer, Ismail Industries, is investing AED 110 million (around $30 million) in the project. The 37,000-square-meter facility will focus on producing biscuits and confectionery items. This venture aligns with Bisconni’s international growth plan and aims to boost its presence in the Middle East.
KEZAD Group’s CEO, Mohamed AlKhadar AlAhmed, welcomed Bisconni, emphasizing the partnership’s role in enhancing Abu Dhabi’s reputation as a food industry hub. Maqsood Ismail, Managing Director of Bisconni Middle East Manufacturing, expressed gratitude for the support from KEZAD and UAE authorities. He highlighted the smooth approval process and the promising future of their international expansion.
