Wego.com, the #leading #online #travel marketplace in the MENA region, has expanded into Pakistan with its ‘Book on Wego’ feature. This allows Pakistani travelers to #book flights and hotels directly on Wego’s app and #website without third-party #redirects.
As part of this expansion, Wego will participate in the Pakistan Travel Mart 2025, one of the country’s largest travels #exhibitions. The company aims to #highlight its travel #platform and new direct booking feature.
Pakistan’s travel demand is growing. Domestic flight searches have increased by over 120% year-on-year, and Saudi Arabia remains the top #international destination for Pakistani travelers. The #launch of ‘Book on Wego’ aims to simplify travel bookings and improve #accessibility.
Wego has acquired a Travel Agency #license from the Department of #Tourist Services Pakistan and received IATA accreditation. Dean Wicks, Chief Flights Officer at Wego, said this will help bring more competitive airfare options to Pakistan.
To attract users, Wego is offering a free #eSIM with 1GB of data for international flight bookings. The company will also use PTM 2025 to connect with #industry leaders and showcase exclusive travel deals.
