So RESOLVE and the Space Research Center (SRC) at the University Of Central Punjab (UCP) are now teaming up to work on Pakistan’s space program together and align academia with industry. Their main goal being to secure funding from the Pakistan Science Foundation for a Satellite Weather Station and CanSAT prototypes.

For the students this means they can now gain hands-on experience with these advanced space technology projects, while the SRC-UCP researchers also get access to RESOLVE’s high-tech lab and advanced equipment, directly improving research opportunities.

RESOLVE is basically a facilitator advancing space science in Pakistan to put us on the global space radar, started as an initiative at University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore and backed by Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Comission (SUPARCO). It’s setting up labs nationwide, tackling critical areas like satellite tech, secure communications, and space materials. They’re also hosting lectures, workshops, and MoUs with various institutions to accelerate progress.

The partnership is a leap forward aiming to put fresh ideas and expertise together with the idea to strengthen Pakistan’s presence in space technology.
