Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL.Official) Group kicked off 2025 on a high note, reporting an impressive 22% revenue growth in the first quarter, reaching a record Rs 61.8 billion. As Pakistan’s leading integrated ICT services provider, PTCL Group has strengthened its market leadership through continuous innovation and robust performance across its subsidiaries.

PTCL’s standalone revenue surged by 14%, touching Rs 29.6 billion. This was largely fueled by the exceptional 70% growth of its Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) service, Flash Fiber, and a 23% rise in Business Solutions. The Enterprise and Wholesale business segments also recorded strong momentum, growing by 23% and 24% respectively. PTCL posted an operating profit of Rs 4.1 billion and a net profit of Rs 1.2 billion.

Subsidiary Ufone 4G delivered a 21% revenue increase compared to the same period last year, while its operating profit rose by 11% over Q4 2024. U Microfinance Bank Limited (UBank), another key subsidiary, saw an outstanding 77% revenue growth, reinforcing its impact in the financial services sector.

Notably, PTCL launched Pakistan’s first WhatsApp-based bill payment solution and expanded Flash Fiber to over 700,000 users, further aligning its progress with the national vision of a digitally connected Pakistan.
