Pakistan and Turkiye aim to grow annual trade to five billion dollars. This goal has been discussed many times, but little progress has been made. Now, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has told the Ministry of Commerce to set clear targets, create a tracking system, and make sure things move. The Trade in Goods Agreement began in May 2023, but trade is still below expectations.
The deal gives Pakistan easier access to sell goods like leather, rice, mangoes, seafood, cutlery, sports items, and plastics. Turkiye can export items like black tea, processed foods, machinery parts, and electronics. Even with these benefits, trade remains limited, so the government is pushing for faster action.

The Ministry Of Defence Aviation Division will discuss outsourcing airports to a Turkish firm. the Ambassador Pakistan Ankara will follow up on Turkish help with Jinnah Medical Complex, a Danish university, ship breaking, and cargo tracking with GIB and FBR.
