Saudi Arabia and Pakistan signed two MoUs with the objective to strengthen cooperation in sports and information technology, which represents another milestone of their long-standing friendship. The ceremony took place at the Governor House, where Saudi-Pakistan Joint Business Council Chairman Prince Mansour bin Mohammad bin Saad Al Saud and Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori were joined by senior diplomats of the two countries.

The two countries would collaborate in IT education, youth exchange, vocational skills development, and sporting activities under these agreements. Governor Tessori emphasized that education, innovation, and sports are the key pillars of a secure future and announced a proposal to organize a friendly Pak-Saudi match of cricket to further deepen cultural ties.

Prince Mansour also requested the Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) leadership to meet him when he visited to talk about opportunities for trade and investment. Issues discussed included petrochemicals, IT, agriculture, and industry, with KCCI proposing a naphtha cracker project to boost Pakistan’s industrial base.

Prince Mansour reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s resolve to enhance economic collaboration under Vision 2030, praising Pakistan’s young generation potential. The visit is a testament to Pak-Saudi relations centered on youth empowerment, industrial development, and technological partnership.
