Nvidia is reportedly planning to launch an open-source platform designed to support AI agents capable of performing workplace tasks autonomously.
The platform, referred to as NemoClaw, is being pitched to enterprise software companies and would allow businesses to deploy AI agents to complete tasks for their internal workforces. According to reports, the platform will be accessible to companies regardless of whether their products operate on Nvidia hardware.
The initiative comes ahead of Nvidia’s annual developer conference in San Jose, where the company is expected to outline new developments in artificial intelligence and computing infrastructure.
Nvidia has reportedly reached out to major technology companies including Salesforce, Cisco, Google, Adobe, and CrowdStrike regarding potential partnerships related to the platform.
The open-source system is expected to include security and privacy tools aimed at supporting enterprise adoption of AI agents. These agents are designed to perform multi-step tasks with minimal human supervision, unlike traditional chatbots that typically require continuous user input.
The planned launch also reflects Nvidia’s broader strategy to strengthen its position in AI infrastructure as major technology companies increasingly develop their own specialised chips for artificial intelligence workloads.
