The initiative was inaugurated by State Bank officials Tariq Riaz and Sarfaraz alongside representatives from Bank AL Habib, Bank Alfalah, UBL Bank, and Soneri Bank. CEO Saleem Amjad emphasized this supports Pakistan’s digital transformation while combating money laundering and strengthening foreign exchange reserves.

Link International Exchange Company has partnered with the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) to roll out QR code-based payment services under the Raast Person-to-Person program across its 75 branches nationwide. This collaboration marks a significant push toward Pakistan’s digital payment transformation and cashless economy. CEO Saleem Amjad emphasized the company’s commitment to supporting digital transformation through the Raast framework developed by the State Bank of Pakistan.
The QR codes work seamlessly across banks and payment platforms, implemented with 13 merchant aggregators, ensuring universal compatibility and financial inclusion. The launch ceremony featured Chief Guest Tariq Riaz, Chief Manager at State Bank of Pakistan BSC Lahore, and Sarfaraz, Deputy Chief Manager, alongside representatives from Bank AL Habib Limited, Bank Alfalah Limited, UBL – United Bank Limited, and Soneri Bank Limited.
