The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has released results from its Q2 2025 Quality of Service survey, naming Jazz and Ufone 4G as the country’s most reliable mobile networks for coverage. Conducted from April to June, the survey spanned 19 cities across Punjab, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with over 340,000 broadband samples and 43,000 SMS and voice call tests collected via uniform drive-testing.

The study compared four major Cellular Mobile Operators (CMOs) using auto-detect mode, which allows devices to switch between 2G, 3G, and 4G. Jazz and Ufone topped the rankings for signal reliability, followed by Zong CMPak Ltd, while Telenor placed last due to the highest number of non-compliant cities.

PTA officials covered over 2,500 km in more than 70 days to compile results. Metrics for voice quality and broadband performance are expected in future reports, which could alter the rankings as operators work to improve their network performance.
