                      foodpanda, in partnership with the Government of Punjab and Wasl Investment Finance Limited, has launched electric bikes (EVs) for its delivery fleet in Lahore. This initiative aims to reduce carbon emissions and promote eco-friendly delivery solutions. At the launch event, key officials, including Shehryar Malik and Ahmad Iqbal Chaudhary, highlighted the significance of electric mobility for sustainable urban development.

                      Hassan Arshad of foodpanda emphasized their commitment to reducing carbon footprints and supporting environmental goals. Wasl Investment Finance will provide EV financing to make electric bikes accessible and affordable for riders. This partnership is expected to revolutionize last-mile logistics in Pakistan and contribute to a sustainable future.

                      The Government of Punjab supports the initiative as part of its vision for sustainable urban development, encouraging a culture of environmental responsibility. This collaboration between foodpanda, the government, and Wasl aims to drive meaningful environmental impact and boost economic opportunities while setting a new standard for the delivery industry in Pakistan. The adoption of EVs is seen as a key step in promoting green transportation and achieving long-term sustainability goals.
