Faysal Bank Limited (FBL), one of Pakistan’s leading Islamic banks, once again showed its commitment to fostering an inclusive society by supporting the 10th Special Olympics Pakistan (SOP) Unified Marathon 2025. This marks the sixth consecutive year the Bank has partnered with SOP, reinforcing its dedication to promoting equality and acceptance of differently-abled individuals.
The event, held at the Governor House in Karachi, was organized in collaboration with the Governor of Sindh, Kamran Khan Tessori. It brought together 600 differently-abled athletes alongside participants from all walks of life, cheered on by an enthusiastic crowd of thousands.
Speaking at the event, Faysal Bank’s President & CEO, Yousaf Hussain, highlighted the importance of inclusion and resilience, emphasizing the transformative power of such initiatives in building a more united society. Ronak Lakhani, Founder & Chairperson of Special Olympics Pakistan, praised Faysal Bank’s dedication to Islamic values of equity and #inclusivity, while also celebrating the success of the talented participants.
