Agriculture is the backbone of many economies, providing food, raw materials, and employment opportunities. It encompasses crop cultivation, livestock farming, and agro-based industries, playing a vital role in food security and rural development. Advancements in technology, sustainable practices, and climate resilience are essential for enhancing productivity and ensuring long-term agricultural growth.

Fatima Fertilizer Company Limited won two awards at the 14th Annual CSR Awards 2025 for its commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. It received the SDG Pioneer Award for being the first Pakistani company to align with the UNDP’s SDG framework. The company’s initiatives, including the Sarsabz Pakistan App and FasalPay Agri-Fintech platform, support farmers through digital advisory, financial inclusion, and sustainable farming, enhancing food security and crop yields.

Rabel Sadozai, Director Sales and Marketing at Fatima Fertilizer, stated that the awards reaffirm the company’s commitment to sustainable agricultural growth. She emphasized the role of digital innovations and partnerships in creating long-term value for farmers, stakeholders, and the environment, highlighting Fatima Fertilizer’s dedication to global sustainability standards and agricultural empowerment.

Fatima Fertilizer’s recognition highlights its leadership in sustainability, corporate responsibility, and contributions to Pakistan’s agriculture sector.
