As part of Dawn Media’s pioneering ‘Breathe Pakistan’ initiative, Islamabad will host a pivotal two-day event dedicated to climate action on February 6-7 at the Jinnah Convention Centre. Bringing together nearly 100 experts from across the globe, the conference aims to address critical climate issues, raise awareness, and stimulate actionable solutions.
The conference will feature high-powered discussions on key themes such as climate finance, climate justice, adaptation, and sustainable governance, with a special focus on South Asia. Eminent figures, including President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, will share their insights on building a climate-resilient society.
Highlights include panels on regional cooperation, air pollution, melting glaciers, women empowerment, and climate education. This event serves as a call to action for public-private partnerships to mobilize resources and combat climate change effectively.
