In a major step toward digital transformation, Binance Academy has partnered with Pakistan’s Ministry of IT and Telecom Pakistan (MoITT) to launch a national blockchain education initiative. The program aims to train 300 university instructors and reach over 80,000 students across 20 institutions by 2026.
Part of Binance’s Global University Outreach Program (GUOP), the initiative aligns with Pakistan’s digital goals and aims to create a skilled Web3 workforce. Educators will be trained in blockchain fundamentals, Solidity, and Web3 concepts, and upon certification, will teach the curriculum independently. Students will receive official accreditation.
Minister Shaza Khawaja welcomed the collaboration, highlighting its role in preparing youth for the digital economy. Binance has already trained over 3,000 students since 2022 in Pakistan.
Launched globally in Kazakhstan in 2023, GUOP now spans 20+ countries. The Pakistan partnership embeds blockchain into the national academic framework, building a globally competitive tech talent pool.
