ABHI Microfinance Bank and 1LINK have partnered to launch 1GO Raast Person to Merchant services, allowing merchants across Pakistan to accept instant digital payments through QR codes.
The agreement was signed by Mariam Pervaiz, Chief Commercial Officer of ABHI Microfinance Bank, and Najeeb Agrawalla, Chief Executive Officer of 1LINK. Senior representatives from both organisations attended the ceremony.
Under the partnership, ABHI MFB will integrate 1LINK’s 1GO Raast static QR solution into its merchant network. This will allow shopkeepers, small businesses, and service providers to accept digital payments directly into their bank accounts without expensive devices or complex setup.
Customers will be able to pay instantly using Raast supported banking apps and digital wallets. The system is designed to offer a simple and interoperable payment experience.
The initiative aims to solve a key issue for small merchants, which is access to low cost digital payment options. QR based payments can help reduce cash handling, improve record keeping, and offer better visibility of cash flow. Faster settlement and clear transaction trails may also help merchants build stronger financial profiles.
The partnership supports the wider expansion of Raast merchant payments and Pakistan’s ongoing shift toward digital transactions.
