BankIslami organised a reception dinner in Riyadh to honour Ambassador Ahmad Farooq, bringing together Saudi civil society members and the Pakistani diaspora in kingdom.
During remarks, Ambassador Farooq emphasised the nearly eight-decade friendship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, rooted in shared values, strategic alignment, and enduring mutual trust. He praised the Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia for strengthening people-people connections between both countries.
Speaking at the event, BankIslami representative Imran H Shaikh highlighted the importance of SaudiArabia’s Vision 2030 and reiterated the bank’s commitment to global expansion of Shariah-compliant Islamic banking and meaningful value delivery to communities worldwide.
Participants stressed the importance of deepening bilateral cooperation and exploring further avenues for social, financial, and cultural collaboration. BankIslami reaffirmed its dedication to interest-free financing and community-driven initiatives designed to bolster the long-standing Saudi-Pakistan partnership.
