Google has announced the expansion of its AI Plus plan to forty new countries, including Pakistan, marking a significant step in broadening access to advanced artificial intelligence tools. The plan, which first launched in Indonesia earlier this month to positive reception, is designed to enhance productivity and creativity at an affordable price.
Farhan Qureshi, Country Director of Google Pakistan, said that Pakistan’s vibrant and growing digital landscape has inspired the company. He emphasized that the new rollout will further support Pakistan’s digital transformation, ensuring wider access to cutting-edge AI applications for individuals and families.
The AI Plus plan offers upgraded access to Google’s Gemini features, advanced video and image generation tools, seamless integration across Gmail, Docs, and Sheets, and expanded storage across Google services. The package, priced at Rs1,400 per month in Pakistan, also allows subscribers to share benefits with up to five family members. New users will receive a fifty percent discount for the first six months.
The launch follows recent discussions between Pakistan’s IT leadership and Google’s regional AI team, underlining a joint commitment to expanding AI adoption, building skills, and driving innovation.
