The Bank of Khyber (BoK) has entered a strategic partnership with  Eastnets to enhance its cross-border and domestic payment infrastructure. This step reflects the bank’s ongoing efforts toward digital transformation and alignment with global financial practices.

The agreement was signed by Amin Sajid, Group Head of Operations and Support at BoK, and Khalil Sharawneh , Director of Sales and Operations at Eastnets. Senior representatives from both sides were present, including Salman Ahmed Usmani, Group Head of Treasury & Investment Banking, and Shaikh Mashhood Rahman شیخ مشھود ارحمان, Chief Information Officer at BoK.

Through this partnership, BoK is implementing SWIFT’s Cross-Border Payments and Reporting Plus (CBPR+) solution. This aligns with the State Bank of Pakistan’s vision for a modern financial ecosystem through the Automated Transfer System for Real-Time Gross Settlement (ATS RTGS).

Eastnets, known for its global compliance and transaction management solutions, is supporting the integration process, ensuring secure and efficient operations that meet international standards.

BoK sees this collaboration as a meaningful step toward innovation in financial services. By adopting advanced solutions like SWIFT CBPR+, the bank is strengthening its role in Pakistan’s digital financial future and reaffirming its commitment to delivering modern, inclusive banking solutions.
